Born in Kingston, Jamaica, I was introduced to art by my grandmother. She was a talented painter, related to a well-known local artist.

I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BFA in Graphic Design. I was introduced to acrylic paint while I was there and it is still my favorite choice for painting.

I worked in the field of Graphic Design for over 15 years before giving it up to follow my dream. I now teach private art lessons while doing what I love most, painting.

My style is primarily Realism. I work with different mediums, drawing and painting, acrylic paint being my preference. My subject matter varies, I like to use photographs for reference, adding my own style and color schemes. I tend to favor bright, contrasting colors.
